Crane Operator

A Crane operator's job requires a valid provincially recognized “tower” or “Self-erect” Provisional ticket or an ‘A’ level ticket. Crane operators must be well versed in safety, proper rigging techniques, and maintenance of a tower crane. His/her responsibility is to ensure daily lifts and procedures are to be carried out in the safest manner

 

Requirements

- Ability to work overtime and Saturdays 

- Reliable transportation 

- Strong communication skills 

Construction Worker

Forming Carpenter

A forming Carpenter is responsible for erecting and constructing concrete walls, columns, curbs, and suspended slabs. A formwork carpenter must be well versed in wood gang panels, the Peri Trio system, and the use of 10k scaffolding, along with other flatwork systems (ie.  Fly tables and modular panel decking systems)

 

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years experience

- Ability to work overtime and weekends 

- Ability to communicate with team leaders and other PDQ employees

- Reliable transportation 

Construction Worker

Superintendent

A Superintendent is responsible for overseeing an entire project’s day-to-day operations. His/her responsibility is to create schedules, manage costs/budgets, order building materials and formwork, manage the onsite workforce, oversee, and confirm all projects are meeting PDQ’s high level of craftsmanship as well as meeting deadlines. Booking pours, shoots, pumps, and deliveries. Lastly, ensuring PDQ complies and adheres to all WCB guidelines.  

Requirements

- Class 5 driver license

- Ability to work overtime and Saturdays

- Minimum 5 years of concrete forming experience  

- Strong communication skills
